It’s been a long time since I wanted to create a separate blog for my fine art photography. Life – which is the object of my photographic fixation, as the title of this website proclaims – is always very busy and often comes in the way of sharing and writing. But now I am going to keep my both websites with their blogs – my portraiture website at www.olgarook.com, and this one for fine art and conceptual photographs, nature, urban scenes and much more. Because I love it all!
I have started this website with a few image galleries and plan to add more gallery pages and sets in the near future. It will not be all as black and white as it appears now: I love color just as much. I will also share my images and thoughts on the blog. You can subscribe to an RSS feed to receive updates. And – which is more fun and interaction – you can follow my Facebook page (you get it: I like it, when you like my work!).
While my portrait website is bilingual (all texts are both in English and in Dutch, and I am a native speaker of neither of them), here I will keep it simple. This does not mean, though, that I mind if you comment in Dutch, Russian, or any other language! All comments are welcome and make me happy.
Thank you for being here, and I hope you enjoy my work!
My first image on this blog will be “global”:
